Missouri Criminal Law Statutes Exerpts
Robbery, second degree.
" A person commits the crime of robbery in the second degree when he forcibly steals property."
Robbery in the second (2nd) degree is a class B felony in Missouri.
Robbery, first degree.
Same as above, and in addition:
- Causes serious physical injury to any person; or
- Is armed with a deadly weapon; or
- Uses or threatens the immediate use of a dangerous instrument against any person; or
- Displays or threatens the use of what appears to be a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.
Robbery in the first (1st) degree is a class A felony in Missouri.
Pharmacy robbery, first degree.
Same as above, if individual steals a controlled substance (schedules I through V) from a pharmacy.
Pharmacy robbery in the first degree is a class A felony in Missouri, with a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years in prison.
Pharmacy robbery, second degree
Same as 2nd degree robbery, specific to stealing a controlled substance from a pharmacy.
Pharmacy robbery in the second degree is a class B felony in Missouri, with a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years in prison.
